Complex, layered aromas of black cherry, celery seed, barrel toast, nutmeg, graham crackers, barrel spices and a warm sweet sensation. Flavors mirror aromas with oak barrel flavors of toast and spices which are well integrated into this well-structured wine. Ripe youthful tannins which will soften with time. Mouthfeel is medium to heavy bodied with mouth coating flavors. Good overall balance of fruit, oak, extract and tannins. The finish is long and mouth coating with flavors of barrel toast, bacon fat, with good acid balance.
