This wine opens with
complex aromas of cedar, cola, jammy cassis and a hint of vanilla.
The juicy, intensely sweet entry of concentrated fruit flavors also
displays lively acidity. Chewy, age worthy tannins are present
throughout the sip, and delicate yet powerful flavors of
marionberry, campfire smoke and candied fruits create a
mouthwatering juiciness. The sweet-tart finish echoes lively fruit
and jammy flavors.
Serve with bold
flavors such as pepper steak, roasts, pot-pie and braised short
ribs. For a sweeter option pair with chocolate
cheesecake.
